Extensive trial experience in representing the Government in criminal trials in the Superior Courts, State of Georgia. Worked as a trial attorney handling cases as a former prosecutor and as a criminal defense attorney. my Focuses

When elected as District Attorney, my mission will be to uphold the United States Constitution and the Constitution and laws of the State of Georgia, to preserve the safety of the public, to protect the rights of crime victims, and to pursue justice for all citizens with skill, honor, and integrity, and without fear, favor, of affection.

Visibility

The District Attorney is considered the top prosecutor of Gwinnett County. This is not an administrative office position. You will see me out front and, in the courtroom, fighting for justice to victims. I will lead by example and strive to serve all citizens.

Experience

The District Attorney’s Office prosecutes all felonies committed in Gwinnett County. It can range from credit card fraud to murder. It is important to elect someone that has extensive experience. No other candidate has over 25 years of trial experience. In addition, I have worked on both sides of the courtroom as a prosecutor and defense attorney.

Safety

Crime in Gwinnett County is a growing concern for all citizens. I will be fair and always recommend sentencing alternatives for non-violent criminals. However, I will have no tolerance towards criminals who commit an act of violence in our community. Anyone who is a repeat offender will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Service

I served my Country as an active-duty military lawyer in a combat zone during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. I represented both the Government and active-duty service members. I will take that same commitment and serve all citizens of Gwinnett County.

I plan to work faithfully for all the citizens of Gwinnett County, and fully account for all of the resources entrusted to me by being out front and in the courtroom prosecuting cases. I will lead by example and strive to serve all of the citizens of Gwinnett County.

What distinguishes your candidacy?

I have over 25 years of trial experience. I have tried felony cases both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney. I have served on active duty as a military lawyer in a combat zone during Operation Dessert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, where I represented both the Government and active duty service members. While on active duty I appeared in court in behalf of service members.
